Minimalistic asset pack with Idea generator. The purpose of the Asset is to inspire creativity, it is based on personal experiences and reflections on the topic.

The main idea is feeling of a white sheet and emptiness that needs to be filled by spending some time with it. Asset is made minimalistic so that it could be finalized and developed at will and personal preferences.

Description of the asset and those things that I hope I was able to deliver:

  • theme of emptiness and creativity in toyish adult world
  • editor with ideas generator
  • black and white backgrounds swap
  • minimalistic set of characters and items

The wall tiles are configured for unity in unitypackage.

Really loving both the asset pack and the way of presenting it with this in-built user interface. :)

This was dope!

can I create a game using the playground you built above as a start line?

The demo itself was made more to give you something to create and add feelings in it, if it helps, use it ofc.

where did you get the inspiration from the creatures

Some random, some from Pinterest, one person was drawn from life. Basically the process worked in such a way that random material was accumulated, then corrected and brought together around a theme and what you care about. There was no idea in the beginning, I just wanted to draw something simple in b&w on an asset. I dragged everything that was at hand, but then you spend time with it and there are some ideas, meanings and opportunities to apply what you found. The background change I also found in the process of figuring out how 1bit art works in general.

So tasteful! And the editor you've made is just amazing! Wish we had more assets like this.
